Bahrain, 8 November 2017: His Excellency Ambassador Javed Malik met with Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, H.E. Ghanim bin Fadhel Al Buainain and discussed the diplomatic and Parliamentary linkages between Pakistan and Bahrain in follow up of the visit by Chairman Shura Council to Pakistan. They also discussed the proposed visit of Speaker of Bahrain Parliament Council of Representatives to Pakistan.

Bahrain, 11 September 2017: As part of Ambassador Javed Malik’s efforts to engage and reach out to all the segments of the Pakistani community in Bahrain with a view to encouraging them to play an active role in promoting Pakistan in the host country, he received a delegation of recently re-organised Pakistani Women Association (PWA) led by their President at the Embassy of Pakistan.The President of the Pakistan Woman Association and all the board members thanked the Ambassador for all his support and encouragement. She said that after the revival of the organisation they are fully charged up and ready to work effectively for the Pakistani women in Bahrain.
Bahrain, 18 August 2017: A special reception was organised on board the well-known naval ship PNS Alamgir as it arrived on a goodwill port call in the Kingdom. Pakistani Ambassador Javed Malik welcomed guests that included diplomats, naval officers and members of the community. The reception was also a grand finale of a series of celebrations of Pakistan Independence Day that have been going on in Bahrain since August 14.
Bahrain, 14 August 2017: The Embassy of Pakistan organised a flag hoisting ceremony at the Embassy of Pakistan,where a contingent of Pakistan Navy also participated along with a huge number of Pakistan community notables and their families who gathered to celebrate the independence of their beloved country. Also, under the guidance of Ambassadors Javed Malik many events were organised by the Pakistani community during the same week, where H.E. the Ambassador was the chief guest.
Bahrain, 30 July 2017: Ambassador Javed Malik met Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, and has lauded the depth of the Bahraini-Pakistani relations of friendship and cooperation. The Minister praised the steady growth of bilateral relations, which, he said, are based on mutual respect, as well as the two countries’ keenness on strengthening regional and global security and peace. H.E. Javed Malik also discussed ways to bolster bilateral cooperation, as well as issues of mutual interest.
Bahrain, 24 July 2017: Ambassador Javed Malik held a meeting with H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Humood Al-Khalifa, CEO of Bahrain Authority for Tourism and Exhibitions to discuss the ambassador’s vision of strengthening the touristic relations between Pakistan and Bahrain.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan appointed Ambassador Javed Malik as Prime Minister’s Special Envoy with rank of an Ambassador in 2013. In this capacity he works on various economic and trade diplomacy initiatives aimed at expanding the scope of trade, encourage investment into Pakistan and also reach out to overseas Pakistanis in the Gulf region.
